What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

This privacy policy is to inform you regarding the use of your personal information which is collected during your visit to one of our websites.

Whenever a website of EAR2HEAR has a different privacy policy it will be made clear that that privacy policy differs from this general EAR2HEAR privacy policy. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Personal Details such as your name, country of residence and email address is requested in order to contact us. That information is kept private and not used in any marketing unless it has been requested by you. However we may correspond with you from time to time using the information you have provided us in the ordinary course of EAR2HEAR
activities.

We use a third-party program MAILCHIMP to handle the delivery of our newsletters. Please see their legal policies here. Potential subscribers enter in their names and email address in order to subscribe to this service. We keep our supporters informed through this platform and the information you have provided is kept private.

How do I reject and delete cookies?

We will not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you. How long we retain your data?
